Blaine is the author of Workplaces That Work, Engaging Unionized Employees, and The Art and Science of Workplace Mediation (all published by Carswell), and has devoted the past 30 years to the advancement of effective labour relations. His experience as a labour lawyer conducting arbitrations, leading collective bargaining, and grievance administration, has made him an expert in collective bargaining and managing unionized employees. He is also considered a national leader in workplace restoration and conflict management systems analysis and design.
